Genre
The genre of this magazine is pop as it has a picture of a pop artist Britney spears and also it says at the top left corner that its the 'top of the pops magazine', so you can tell that its a pop magazine. The photo graphs of Britney and there is also others and Eminem. In this magazine they have mostly used the colours red, purple, and pink as this can be only for girls also the word pop is associated with these colours. The fonts are big and they stand out tells the reader what the whole magazine is about and what stories are used for the magazine.

The shot types that are being used here are also mid shots and over the shoulder shot, the mid shot is being used for Britney while the over the shoulder shot is being used for Eminem.
