Genre: The genre of this magazine is pop.

. I could tell this is a pop magazine because it has bright pink colours, black red and yellow

. There is a picture of some pop artists to associate that this is a pop magazine.

Target audience: The target audience for this I think is teenagers, but mostly for girls.

. This can be girls pop magazine as it uses a lot of pink with black

. also it can be because of the image of the boys on the page, girls may find them stunning.

Layout: The layout of the music contents age is set out in columns, on the left is some stories that are in the magazine. the fonts are going biggest to smallest in their importance, such as the big font is to show what this page is called and then the sub-headings are a bit smaller then the big heading as this is to show the second importance and the third font is the smallest on the stories as this is what the people read , it gives a brief explanation of the story.

Representation:The magazine  has a column on the left about clubbing and this is what most teenagers do at this age, as this is something fun to them, they will have a read of this and find out the clubbing dates

Media language: The shot types are wide shot and long shot as it is showing a lot of the background and it's showing the artists from face to legs or toes. and another shot is mid shot that has been used on the left, bottom corner which is from face to lower down on the stomach.
