Genre:

The genre of this contents page is pop, I could tell this because it has really bright colours and it looks really colorful. I could also tell this because it has some pop artists photos, which has been used to associate as this is a pop magazine. Also the fact that some of the numbers are bold which are the things that you normally see in a pop magazine. Also the font style seems to look groovy and girly.

Target Audience:
The audience for this is pop magazine lovers and probably teenagers mostly because there is a photo of Zac Efron, who might be a fan of some people and also they may be interested in some of the stories in the magazine, and they also might read this magazine most of the time as they are pop lovers. I can also tell that its target audience may be girls because it provides a clothing of  scarf that might illustrate that it is girls clothing that they are offering.

Layout:

The magazine content page is laid out in columns with bright color borders for the subheadings, page numbers going on the left hand side with the story titles also with the numbers. There is also a brief description on top with pictures beside it and underneath it to show what some of the stories are about. Also this uses bright colours for the font style and the text to identify that it is a pop magazine. It also uses coupons to grab attention of the people that read this magazine as this gets them more people to buy their magazine.

Representation:

The representation of this contents page uses bright colours for he pop magazine  which allows us to see that this is a pop magazine, with pop artists.

Media language: There are two types of shot used medium close up and mid shot for the pop artists and pictures.For these images we cant see the background, which is cut off as this is how it is like in a pop magazine , hey mostly seem to have plain white backgrounds but filled up with text and images.
